Depending on your device, if your storage capacity is nearly full Minecraft may struggle to have enough space to load chunks - which has a knock-on effect on performance. If you are still experiencing significant performance issues after reducing render distance, head into your game settings (you can do this while still in a world) and turn off smooth lighting, render clouds, fancy leaves, beautiful skies, fancy graphics, and turn down particle render distance. On some lower-end devices, we recommend setting your render distance to six chunks to give you the best chunk-related performance boost When your render distance is lower it reduces the amount of chunks Minecraft has to load each time you move. If you are experiencing any performance issues with our content, there are some steps that you can take to troubleshoot your issues and, in some cases, resolve them. However, sometimes there may be performance issues outside of our control. We aim to make sure our content on the Minecraft Marketplace works for every platform.
